Yearly eye exams are the best way to ensure healthy vision now and throughout your lifetime. Children should have a thorough eye exam before the age of five. In addition to determining your eyeglass prescription with the latest digital technology, our comprehensive eye exam includes tests for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and the ocular effects of systemic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. We also perform an Optomap retinal screening with every routine eye exam. A contact lens exam includes additional contact lens-related tests that are necessary to ensure that your prescription is accurate and the contacts are fitting your corneas properly.
